    Next week’s Wisdom – Careful Steve it looks as though someone has ‘given you enough rope….’ to do somthing terminal! Good to see your technique for reducing the danger here. No harm ever came from giving somebody a short rope my friend.

    If you pull the middle line the sheep shank simply pulls out .
    You can do this even when the rope is under load .

    Steve,

    It’s also a useful knot for hobbling your horse, sheep or kids. Just slip one leg through each loop and pull tight.
