Diamond Build Launch Their New Corporate Identity

Yesterday evening, at the close of the hottest day of the year yet, we find ourselves on the 4th floor of the Design Museum in London’s Shad Thames. There is a balmy breeze coming in from the River Thames, sometimes carrying the intermittent sounds of riverboat discos with it.

On the balcony, overlooking a panorama of the City’s iconic buildings, the voices of gathering clients old and new and yet to be met.

The occasion is the launch of Diamond Build’s Corporate Identity. The new logo design glows everywhere from behind blue and green backlit glass. Soon the focus turns to the podium, it also glowing blue and green with the words “Diamond Build – Building for Life” and the striking graphic logo; all the creation of Edge Design.

Steve Edge himself climbs up to deliver a rousing and almost evangelical rallying call. He feels passionately about Design and also passionately about the company Diamond Build towards whom he feels a great responsibility. When asked why, he replies that the people at Diamond Build are just the nicest you could meet.

Not only that, they know what they are doing, you can trust them implicitly and most importantly they can DELIVER. Diamond Build can and will ‘win the premiership’.

This is when he turns his unflinching eye to us all and urges us that it is our duty to ‘look good’ in order to perform at our best and achieve and win that one ‘extra point’ that is required to win the premiership.

The simplicity of this hits everyone between the eyes.

There is then an appreciative roar of applause and understanding….
