Love it Steve – reminds me of our days back in San Diego when we were THE house in the neighborhood where all the kids came for pumpkin carving followed by parading round the streets trick or treating. We even had a dancing banana on our porch one year ! Good times so thanks for the memories amigo.

    Steve,
thanks for the scary video. I was less worried about the pumpkin and more about Steve’s metamorphosis into Dame Edna Everage !
    Will try the soup!
    kind regards

Steve you should replace Gordon Ramsey, or Nigella!
Love the make up! It adds a certain something?
When in Germany my favourite soup… ‘Kurbis’

With thanks for making life more fun.

Great video, love the murrr ha ha ha at the end, lol

I did mine already this morning before spotting this tutorial I’m afraid and so neglected to serate the lid. A good idea because the lids shrink with the heat and actually yes are in danger of falling in. Next year I’ll serate. I cut my lids square at the moment.

Another tip I have, is that if you put them outside, check them before you bring them in the house again because I brought them in one year to put on the table during a party and they had slugs in them…. imagine me screaming and running back out doors with the slug infested pumpkins!

    Happy Halloween!

    Loved the performance Shoreditch baby.
Up here in the heather, pre Tesco, and pre pumpkins, we used turnips (known locally as neeps) The neeps were kept to be cooked with mashed potatoes ( tattties) and served with the ultimate Highland delicacy,Haggis……….. (in season at Halloween!!)

    Lol, Inverleith
